Maki Oh Spring 2020 Collection Is Making A Valid Fashion Statement With Pearls

Designer, Amaka Osakwe, has made a stylish case for pearls with her new collection which showcased at the NYFW.

Each look possessed its own individuality creating a carefree synergic split, perhaps to satisfy a wider taste that her fanbase seems to have, whatever the case was, the introduction of pearls made all the difference.

Whether is lined as lapel ‘tassels’ or used decoratively on the hemline of a little black dress, it introduced a subtlety to an otherwise edgy look. Pearls aren’t the easiest jewelry to style, so a transition into clothes gives the added advantage that those who are unwilling to take the jewelry bait would be unable to resist – talk about killing two birds with one creative stone.
