The memo has been sent: Dress like royalty when you go to the theatre and wear African brands.

In the film Black Panther, the language of the kingdom of Wakanda is isiXhosa, the melodic South African language known for its distinctive clicks. With its deep heritage in Xhosa, Maxhosa-by-Laduma is one of our top picks. Pair the My Heritage My Inhertiance knit sweater with a see through organza bead collar blouseby TAIBOBACAR and black wide-leg pant and you’re ready for the premiere.

The father and son duo, Actors John Kani (L) and Atandwa Kani wore MaXhosa by Laduma shawls to the world premiere of 'Black Panther.'Their roles in Black Panther is fully represented in this Maxhosa Shawl. Both actors and Laduma Ngxokolo, designer behind Maxhosa by Laduma, are from Port Elizabeth. It is beautiful how these things come together. Be like the father and son royalty duo by wearing the Monchrome Maxhosa Shawl, the most beautiful object in South Africa, or the Brown Pattern Maxhosa Shawl to the see the amazing movie.

Going for a more subtle look, this Simon & Mary X Trevor Stuurman hat collection can be your crown. Also from South Africa, this colorful collection of Fez hats can compliment any outfit. Pair the pink hat with a Dayano shirt or this Pink golf shirt for a more vibrant look. The red hat will add a pop to any darker colors.
